Dance Lessons

I’m an original member of the Popping Crew, the Groovy Gentlemen, since 2003. We were the first of a new generation of Poppers in Vancouver and helped paved the way for the diverse local dance scene that is established here today.

My background is in classically trained Boogaloo as well as Robot, Waving, Tutting & Animation. My classes teach students how to freestyle and create funky and illusional movement to the music. I teach with a strong emphasis on foundational techniques, encouraging you to personalize your dance and confidently explore freestyle and improvisation. I definitely believe that creating illusions is just as important as musicality.

Private lessons and group rates are available. All ages and skill levels are welcome and I look forward to showing you just how fun and rewarding this dance style is.
